I really like how your style has developed since then.

It's much more animated and simple now, and I love it.

Good stuff.

my god... that redesign sent me through the roof man... it rules! it has fantastic energy to it, and i love its beautiful simplification.

i do have a lil nitpick for ya bud. the sock line for the shoes should prolly be an upwards curve rather than a downwards one... i say this because we can see the bottom of the kid's shoes.

i am envious of the fluidity of your lines bro.

fantastic!

The Genie shots are proof that quantity of line is not to be confused with quality of drawing. The first one's a nice drawing and shows promise. The remake is a remarkable leap in style and quality. Much more powerful, with a sense of decency to the characters. The first set, in comparison, seem like spoiled brats looking to pick a fight. The new set shows heroes who are looking to do the right thing but, could hurt you in ways the first guys couldn't dream of. Personally, I'd curve the socks and waistline the other way. Is his left hand supposed to be missing a finger?

The bump in Spidey's face bothers me. Too low to be a brow, too high to be a nose, it's kinda' floating in "no man's land."

Beautiful, fluid work.

Checked out your site and am MOST impressed but, it leads me to a serious question. Why do you bother with black pencil? Your blue pencil stuff is light-years ahead in terms of energy, character, action... Do you work blue, black, ink, or do you go straight from blue to ink with the black just being for show purposes like portfolio reviews? Just curious.

By the way, "Wait, I'm not finished!" was hysterical.

Hehe thanks Finn! Yeah until you first pointed it out I would have missed it..thanks buddy.

Baloodoo Bill: Thanks for liking what's going on at my site...as for the pencil and blue pencil thingy...well that's why I luv to draw with the blue cuz when I first start sketching I always tend to get the nice smooth lines and spontinaity with my sketches as opposed to using the regular pencil especially with finished sequentials I tend to lose that nice smooth feel and look..that's something I'm tying to remedy so I can get the best of both worlds. Thanks also for liking the Lions short! Appreciate it! -Gutz

Spidey's torso looks a little forced, like somehow his legs and midsection are joined together tenatively by some sort of odd lego connection. He also seems a little stiff for Spidey. The second and third sketches you have there are sic though. I must say I like the one with the big ponytailed muscledude better, looks less...Darkstalkers ;bat;

Beautiful, and loving every bit of it.
The Spidey kinda reminds me like Jake Parker's spidey pic in his gallery (http://www.agent44.net) but nonetheless I love it.

Jal: Thanks man!!

Geo: Kewl thanks for the crit and I'll look out for stuff like that for next time...thanks as well!

MightyMatt: Thanks Matt....I checked out Jakes site..and didn't see a pic that resembled mine..it's funny that you think you do a spidey pose in such a way that you think nobody has done it and sure enough there is..lol

Mase: As always thanks! -Gutz

the style is similar...and that is why I am intrigued by the stuff you put up here....Jake has such a clean style, like yours, and I guess if nothing you can just be inspired by this wonderment of the artworld Gutz.
Have you ever done any He-Man related stuff or TMNT? I think it would be nice to see some of those from you.
