1.OK, I've been using some 17X11 inch comic paper for awhile. The paper has these 'trim'/'copy' marks, which I know is nothing new, but I don't know what the purpose for them is. There's also the dotted box in the middle, two dotted lines(one on each side) and then a solid lined box on the outside which I'm guessing correspond with the trim and copy marks. Basically I'm wondering what exactly the marks are for.
2. all around the 'solid box' are those pairs of tick marks, what are those for.
3.last question :). From what I've heard, the largest area that is actually drawn within is 15x10(10.5?). I've ruled the two boxes, the dotted line is too small and the solid line is too big, so do you guys rule your own area to draw in or does it matter if you go all the way to the solid line? I even used to draw just within the dotted line cause I've never been sure :p.
Thanks.
