i like the pages, i don't know what happening but i guess that's partly becuase of the lack of dialogue.
only lil thing i think that's off is the perspective in the second panel of second page those lines behind the old man are a lil too extreme.

Wow man, looks great. The only critique I have is that the guy with the black coat turns to his right in the last panel of the page, but in the first panel of the second page he's looking over his left shoulder.

yup, looks real good. no particular complaints. I like all the detail, good figure drawing, and the scenery is real sharp. I thought you could add some more scenery in the background where there seems to be nothing sometimes, because if it were to be inked and colored there might seem to be something missing there. Then again, sometimes too much bg detail fogs up the overall scene...

Simone,
I'm a little confused by panel four (page one). The guy on the bench (I'm guessing it's him considering the cuffs of the sleeves on the outstretched arm) grabs the lead character's coat with his left hand, yet when we cut back to the bench, the lead character is shown to be too far away from the guy on the bench, and completely out of position--off to the old guy's far right. It strikes me as being rather odd.
Page two, panel three: The close up of the girl reminds me of one of those Al Williamson referenced faces from SECRET AGENT X-9. Good job on the hair. :) Considering the lighting on the lead guy's face, I might suggest adding a bit of a shadow beneath the girl's chin. You don't absolutely need it, but it might give the panel a little more consistancy and help to give her head a little more dimension.
Looking good on the whole, dude!

Dikiminster: Thanks!
Chynco: I hope everything will be more clear with the dialogue... I hope
Reilly: The action described in the last two panel of the first page and the first of the second one is the main lack point I guess...thanks for pointing it out.
Brendon: The panel you see without bg should include more dialogue...however that's is an excuse too because sometime I'm a bit lazy
Loston: As I already said the sequence you mentioned is not working as should do, but I don't think I'm going to rework it.
You win Loston I used Williamson as reference! I use really often this artist especially for lighting and drapery reference, but realist photo ref are my fave!
Thanks to all of you guys...I'm going to be in touch with you again in 3 weeks for now, because I'm leaving on Vacation (beach...beach...beach!) and I promise to my wife to just carry my watercolours with me :D

I thought you might be looking at Williamson's work. Al's a good artist to look to for inspiration. A lot of the strips he drew incorporated a lot of photo reference, and he certainly knows how to use it well. Btw, Al's one of the nicest guys I've ever met in the business.:)
Have a good vacation, Simone.

A lot of the strips he drew incorporated a lot of photo reference, and he certainly knows how to use it well. When Jim Keefe, the regular FLASH GORDON artist, asked me to guest pencil a Flash strip, I had to follow the awesome work of Al Williamson, who'd did a guest strip the week before. I felt enormous pressure, I'll tell you--Al's a tough act to follow. Btw, Al's one of the nicest guys I've ever met in the business.:)
I hope you have a good vacation, Simone.
