swordsman sketch

hey guys, a friend and i were talking to each other on aim last night, and we decided to sketch knights. well, it didn't exactly go as planned, and my knight ended up turning into something else. there are some things i really like about this sketch, like the hands, and there are things i don't like, like the boots. i just couldn't get the perspective on the right boot to look right, and his head just seems really generic too. other than that though, i like it.

oooOOOOooo me likey. I really like the boots myself. I think that the head could maybe use more armor or something (my opinion). The lower half of the body looks like it is really huge.. I mean that the armor you placed on his lower half is really big but on the upper half of the body it looks smaller. Maybe with a little experimentation on the shoulders or the arms or chest or something.. dunno. Hope my comments make sense.

eh, they make plenty of sense. and it's weird, but it really doesn't look that out of proportion on the paper in my hand. i'll see if i can do another one, make some changes for the better. glad you liked it:D

Very cool, the boots kick ass, you're crazy. Great character. Especially like his weapon, almost looks like a gunblade but not quite. Cool stuff.

thanks for the replys guys, glad you like my sketch. i'l probably do another one soon, but i'm working on some sequentials and a pinup of asajj ventress. in other words, i'll get to it when i have the time:D

never really noticed the sword looked like a gunblade, but i definitely see it.:) later guys, i'll post my other stuff as soon as i finish it.
