Not too shabby... I see some emerging use of effective line weights, good variance of emotion and angles... nice stuff, there's some good potential here!

I might wonder at your use of hatching across the cheeks... it's an often-seen Japanese technique, but it's used best when following the contour of the cheeks to help define the plane. Yours are generally going always in one direction, and remind me more of slightly misplaced eyelashes.

Keep practicing and posting, this looks like you're on the right track!

Like the faces, but spidey's legs are huuuuuuuuuuuge. Well, maybe not huuuuuuuuuuge, but pretty big and puffy.

inkthinker- thanks, man. it's weired, but up until about three weeks ago, I was drawing stuff like this (http://unionjack.sub-central.com/art/ninja2_final.jpg). But I found found one of my old boards and the back wasn't too messy so i did this (http://unionjack.sub-central.com/art/sketch2.jpg). it was like a whole technicque transition. i'm taking much more time with my drawings now and "seeing" more places where i should be putting lines.

It's weird, but i always thought of those little diagonal lines as accenting the eyes, not defining the cheeks, but i see where you're coming from. I think it's one of those stylistic things that I'm trying to do less and less, thinking more about what I put down instead of just reproducing what I've seen done before. Again, thanks for the compliments. Hopefully I'll have some more stuff to put up here soon. That script I'm writing, if I think it's good enough, I might post it on my site for anyone to try out.

TFF- I know, they are HUUUUUUUUUGE!:D Legs, drawing them specifically, are [is?] one of the things I've been neglecting. While I feel that I've got a pretty good hold on the trunk and upper extremeties, I'm still learning the muscles of the leg, looking at anatomy books and such.

Again, thanks for the warm welcome guys.:)

Here's my latest, guys. It's not exactly done yet, but it's just a sketch after all. It's one of my concept sketches for a small script I'm writing to get off my ass and do some sequential work. Therefore, all applicable copyright laws apply. Hope you guys enjoy it.
