On the top of the cockpit, the curves in look nice, but don't seem to have much function to them. I would like to see in the final some exhaust vents or some detailing that makes it more than just a cool style thing.

Otherwise, there's a good sense of scale.

I like the legs, but the rest of the design strikes me as too blocky and in need of detail... the structure is there, but it needs detail.

to see some of what I mean... you need mechanical details, graphic details like logos and paint... these are what help push the design up to the next level.

ahhhhh gooooood idea! I love it! Ill maybe add a fat cannon on the top middle part (like it folds out) and then ill add maybe vents on sides

ya i was going to add more functions to the design... i just wanted to show SO FAR what i was doing with those shapes and see if im heading in a good direction or not. And yes ill put logos and stuff on when i finally do a drawing of it.

thanks for the input everyone.. any other comments?

That's just damn unfair. Wow that's cool.

Remember to keep you parts linked somehow, it's not enough to stick some masses together with a few guns, you have to make sure it's a working machine. Even if the part doesn't make sense, if you give it mass AND some kind of link to another piece, it will look like it's suppose to be there.

Yeah, that made sense. Try me.

true true true.. Im gonna think up some more ideas. To see if they form and function together correctly. It seems too lame and dull to have a cardboard box with guns. Well.. at least without any duct tape.. Anyways. Ya xadrian your comment did make sense.. ive just always had problems figuring out functionality of the robos... Oh well back to the thinking/drawing board

Whatsup Killer... That thing is coming along really nicely, man! Can't wait to see a finished product.

The only major thing I see, and I understand this is a WIP, is the top left section, behind the "head". I think those curves on the framework look cool as hell, but there is a SERIOUSLY distracting tangent between the left curve and the missle launcher (?) on the back of the mech. I'm not sure if I'm missing something due to the in progressiveness, but that doesn't work very well right now.

Anyway, looking great!

seems like a typical run of the mill mech you need to add your own stylishnessness too it.
