I don't know if he's got any left, but you could try http://www.bigscanner.com SCSI scanner, very fast. Only had it a month or so, so durability hasn't been tested.

Cheaper, but not as reliable. I had one for about 2 years of heavy scanning before it starting flaking out on me. Still good for a while.

I've had a Mustek A3 EP 11x17 for about 3 years. It's on light duty with no problems yet. I bought it at Circuit City for around $100.
