Damn, if I would have thought of it, I would have put the name "Phil" above the heart on the guy's ass...oh well, maybe next time.

Cool sketches, Juan. I see you still hang onto the old Bart Sears articles from Wizard too. I ripped them all out and stapled them together for easy reference. They didn't give him a lot of room to work, but there's some good stuff scattered through there.
I'd check a reference for the spider... the legs should all come out of the thorax and the abdomem is like a big globe.
Nice shading throughout. Though I think he hooded figure's nose should have some shadows applied to it as well... Thanks for throwing Snoopy in, it balanced the page perfectly.

Mike - oh stop it. You are making me blush. I'm not that GOOD.

Saturn Lad - yup, I got a complete set of all the early Wizards and I went through and ripped out all the how to draw sections and put them all into one binder and when I work in my sketchbook every day, I just grab a page out of there and do the exercises. They really help alot and I highly recommend them to anyone having difficulty drawing.

statezero - just for you, sweety. ;)

tweeter - you're welcome. Now where's my scans!?!?!

Is that hose in the back of his neck pumping the air in that's overinflating his chest?? Or was that an artistic decicion?? And what's with those abs?!?! They look like skin folds, but he's standing upright.
Also, the shoulders and ass on the back view are way too small.

You really need to ask me if it's okay to use me as reference for your back shots. My ass cheeks are so rock hard, if you give me a quarter and I'll make 2 dimes and a nickel...watch...hnnnnnnnn......ooop, uh, I'll get back to you in a couple of hours on that. Laxative, need a laxative.

Ed - grow up.

versus - my inker (Bill Meiggs) is inking it for me and that is not a picture of me. That is a picture of katybear4 (another penciljack member).

The Cancerman - read my other thread in the drawing section.

statezero - dunno, I ripped all the pages out and put them all in a binder...

menace - ooooookkkkkkkaaaaaaaayyyyy...that was just weird...

...o...k....

There isn't any source to get all of those wizard "how to draw" things, is there?

If there isn't, I noticed you have a scanner... we could rectify that problem...

Not that I know of, but if you guys would give me some target areas that you need to work on, I can look through my book and see what I have. I also have the how to draw sections from Hero magazine and I think a couple others from various other publications throughout the years.
