View Full Version : Buffy Sketch

I did this Buffy sketch for a fellow's sketchbook. No nudity, but since it's suggestive, I'll only provide a link to the image. It's not bad for a rushed job. I'm currently neck deep in work, so I didn't have much choice. I received the sketchbook in the mail yesterday afternoon, and I had it drawn, scanned, and back in the mail by three-forty the same day!
Whoever constructed that angel surely needs to work on sculpting hands! I have spatulas that look like those mits!;)

Only a handful of Buffy episodes left! The final episode ought to be awesome.

Awesome job, Loston. Seriously. (although, you did embellish her chest a bit, I see;))
Yeah, for years, I shunned this show, thinking it was going to be as unbearable as the baaaad movie, but then it got syndicated to the Space Channel up here in Canada and I thought I'd give it a chance. (Heck, I even watched The Highlander in syndication!) I've gotta say, it's one fantastic show. It's almost always an epic storyline, with classic character archetypes given a fresh spin and dialogue you could cut leather with.
In my humble opinion, Joss Whedon is a totally underrated writer/producer.

What did you do again? Someone sent you their sketchbook and you drew in it?

Someone wanted a commission done, and contacted me about it. This person wanted the art drawn inside one of their sketchbooks, so he sent me the sketchbook along with the payment. It arrived, and I drew the sketch and had it in the mail to him the same evening. A pretty fast turn-around.:)

My fav show but I suspect that there's so many characters left to service that Xander and Dawn and Anya may end up being 100% left out by the end. Xander was always my fav character too... oh, this is about your art.
Good likeness, solid background. I think you gave her too much of a bubble butt though and her face is a bit overrendered, making her look a little old.

I definately gave her more curves than she really has, but I don't agree about the overrendered part.

In that case, we're going to have to agree to disagree and we'll just have to watch more Buffy (and Angel 'cuz I like that too).
