These are a few pages from Peter Parker, Spiderman #55, which should be on sale April 30th. Inks by Wayne Faucher, and colors by Studio F. Holla back.

Whoever drew these pages...SUCKS SOME MAJOR ASS!!!!!

Hehe...just kidding...looks pretty cool, Khary. Well, except for the *guy's* nipple close up shot (that's definately one I've never seen before, but to each his own)...

Are you going to Wizard World Chicago this year?

If so you are definately signing some books for me....

after I kick your little pansy ass that is!

LOL!

wohow. Good stuff , Kaligula!

Page 3 takes the cake, hands down.

Some of my thoughts:

-One thing bugs the hell out of me, though, page 2 : The way the guy's arm and foot break the right panels! Total depth killer... and just, well, wrong, if you ask me. :(

-The expression of Spidey in page 1 is superb.

-I'm not much of a style-junk, but yours works for me. Not too simple, not too complex: good!

that's pretty much all I had to bitch.. ;)

seeya!

I love that art, but that transparent coloring on the webs leaves an icky taste in my mouth.

I guess I'll be buying Peter Parker for one more issue.

Is your issue the one just before Sam Kieth's arc?

I guess it's better not to be following him.

These look good. I agree about the pages not being to stylized nor too detailed. I think the colors and inks compliment your style nicely. You should definitly get more Spidey gigs.

As far as craft goes, you can't knock these at all. These are very good. As far as what is going on in the story, Spidey carrying around robot parts, and whatever else appears to be happening, it doesn't seem very interesting. I'll be picking this up JUST BECAUSE Khary's drawing it.

Hey shinolahead!! Dude, tell me you have kids, man. Otherwise, the Wiggles references are just completely gay.

Wow. Thanx guys, for the crits and comments. They're all appreciated very much.

Responding to random comments cuz it'd take me a year to reply to all these. . .

- Yes, I believe I'm the first artist to ever use "the nipple shot." I hope, at least. BTW, the nipples were not my idea, but actually the writer's. Read the story, it'll make more sense. Sorta.

- Trying to go to Chicago, but it's still up in the air. It'll all depend on my schedule and how much dough I have at the time. And if I DO go, I'm kicking Juan's ass.

- Ra, thanx for the crits and comments. I'll take everything into account for next time around.

- Yup, it's just a fill-in issue. And yup, Sam Kieth is the next run. After I'm incredibly happy that I'm before and not after.

- Yes, this is Rocket Racer. Super cheesed out. The whole story arc (this is the 3rd and last part) is all about washed up Spidey supervillains.

Thanx all!

Man, Shade, he knows I'm just playing with him. Khary's a great guy and a true source of inspiration for me. He's helped me alot when I needed questions answered and I appreciate that more than he'll probably ever know. Again, good job Khary. Keep up the good work, man.

Is it that obvious? I thought I was hiding it well enough, but truth be told, you hit the nail right on the head, DARKSTORMGRAPHIX!

You see, in all honesty, I think Khary is an excellent artist, and I wish him well in everything that he does. But, deep down, in the depths of my very soul, I can't stand the man. I ****ing hate him because he's doing what I should be doing. That bastard is working on a high profile Marvel title. It should have been me, man.

Why? Why did Khary have to work so hard, drawing all the time, honing his craft, becoming such a great artist? Why? Why couldn't he have just sat around on his ass all day, eating Krisp Kremes and watching Springer, picking lint out of his navel like I do?

Oh, WHY LORD, WHY??!!

It's just not fair!!

Oh, well...sigh...I think Springer's on now.

The only thing I don't like about it is the coloring. These are great teasers anyhow. It makes me want to pick it up for the rad art. Yes, the webbing is truely badass. I hope you get to do more books in the future!

Sweet Khary.. those pages are top-notch. For some reason that 2nd page just makes me chuckle every time I look at it.. I think it's the guy with his hands covering his face laughing in the 2nd panel.. and of course the up-close nipple.

That coloring is really nice to me, I like the style.. Keep it up.

"Not like it used to be" eh? Guess I remember it differently. We just try to section things off to make it easier on members and the viewing public. I don't think it's that big an inconvenience on anybody to ask them to post in a specific forum. Since this thread consisted of a sequence of storytelling pages, I moved it over to ... Storytelling & Sequential Art.

i will buy that book fo shizzle ...

what i think that is very cool of your style is that you exaggerate some lines ... to me this makes stuff look dynamic ... like in page 2 the bigdude left fist and in page 3 swinging spidey's knee ...
