I totaly was expecting something a lil less static Juan. The shading and anatomy is ok but the pose is super weak.

I agree, but I think once the background get's in on the final, you'll see why I went with this pose. Plus drawing men is my weak point...so I wanted something simplistic to practice my rendering on.

What do you expect? It's a classic Invincible pose...this is what defines the character...

But Armistice's is pretty cool...I hadn't seen that one til now. What was used for the colors? They almost looked painted.

Cool. Thanks for the hook up Mike. As for my sketch, I don't think I'll use this for the final version. Even after I attempted a background on it, it still looked to static and boring so back to the sketchbook we go. I want something really dynamic and powerful for this piece.

Hey Juan,don't feel to bad about the pose.;)

I talked to Robert and told him I had this great idea for the pin-up,it would be something (iconic)!

1 day before I finished the piece the 1st issue comes out and I see Cory's logo and basically said $#!%@!**#!!#

But after I sent the pic to Robert he assured me all was cool!:cool:
