I'm trying to do a page of warm-up sketches every day... it'd be easier if I could do so without my AD wanting to know why I'm "dicking around" as opposed to do whatever crap they want me to do today.

Warm-ups keep you limber, you know? Besides, I need to practice... I'm bothered by the fact that even though I'm a so-called "professional" artist, I now spend more time supervising the space monkeys or working on smaller elements of a larger project, as opposed to actually drawing anything.

So, I'm trying to do a page of warm-up sketches every day.

Really nice stuff. I'd like to get back into the habit of daily sketching. I've got the sketchbook ready to go, it's just a matter of discipline. And it's not as if I don't enjoy it!
Anyway, I like the forced perspective in the middle figure, it almost looks like a fisheye lense effect. They all look good, though that guy in the upper left needs to quit playing with the eyebrow pencil. ;mrt;

That's just indicative of all my faces lately... they somehow went from something I was doing well to something I can't do at all without some sort of guide. I'm not satisfied at all with any of those faces, and I was trying, too... it's pissing me off, frankly.

Hence, practice.

I wonder, if I dropped one of these in here every day, how long it would take before people got sick of it.

Not long, I think. :D

You might get sick of it. AkiraX used to do it all the time and received nothing but accolades.

True... but I suspect Nate might be a better illustrator than me.

I know Chris may think so. ;)
