my guess is that everyone who visits this forum participated in this draw-off and therefore noone is able to vote.

Most of these pieces were great (and although checking through individual links sucked), but I had to go with Fusciart's Spiderman.

you know what. ground hog shouldve seperated the choices with spaces. cause it might get confusing. almost as confusing as a ballot in florida. we dont want no hanging chads.

I love the way Spyda draws action. It's nice and clean.

Saturnlad, man I love that pose. I dont think I've seen SPidey in that one before. Great job guys.

Groundhog, that's some great detailing in the background, but your Spidey 2099 has some serious anatomy issues. If you had done a better job on the figure and maybe made him larger in the shot, you would have been in the running.

I found it hard to choose between Popninja, Saturn Lad and Spyda.

Good job everyone!

No disrespect to Groundhog, but this thread should have been set up correctly. He obviously has some personal stuff going on, so he half-assed the poll(sorry, but that's the truth). If I had the power, I would fix it so that you could see the images in the thread. Even I didn't go through and click all of these links, so I'm going to hold off on my vote for now. And what's with the names of people who didn't submit to the draw-off? It's confusing as all get out, and it's no wonder this thread is dropping to the bottom of the page.

Until, of course, I just bumped it.

i think this is the first time i've seen such a large turnout, and each one is a strong piece. this is awesome.

Thanks Spidey, it's just too bad I wasn't able to get the background finished. When I get a chance to finish it up I'll post it in the Drawing Board so I can get some crits. I wasn't really satisfied with the lighting on the figure either, so I'll probably redo that as well.

Not sure why Azrael has two entries, but I've managed to go through all of these and have to say that I am most impressed with Spyda's. Everyone who entered did a really good job. If Solace's wasn't so inconsistent, part finished and part not-finished, he may have gotten my vote. As it is, for nostalgic purposes, and because it's a damn fine piece of work, I'm gonna go with Spyda's.

Yeah, about half of it was still in blueline when i scanned it, i really dropped the ball. :o I really only got into this drawoff cause EVA's a friend of mine and suggested i go for it when he showed me his entry. I like the layout though, so i'm still going to do *something* with the piece, although maybe not spidey in the final version.
And i agree with you and Raede, really nice body of work in this poll. I can't wait to see the Matrix d/o turnout. :D

Because I made the one with spidey and Green Goblin, got confused and thought it did'nt qualify due to including an extra character and no NY landmarks, and did the other one. I posted both in the challenge thread and basically said to take the one with Spider-man and Green Goblin (who has Normie Ozborne under his arm if anyone was wondering) as my entry.

Sooo...yeah.

OK gang:
yes, as usual I had some idiotic personal issues to deal with.
getting this together was difficult because there were SO many entries to match whose drawing was whose.

as far as the links go, well, mine are on geocities, seeing as to how my personal issues have left me with no cash for personal server space.
geocities does not let you display images across domains(unless I wanted to change it to a ".txt" file)

anyway, I'm glad to even finish this at all, if it were an inked in contest I'd be first instead of 3rd, i'll have to get at spyda for revenge one day, so far it's been him and ruddiger who have actually managed to beat me in a draw off so far.

yes, his drawing is kickass, I envy the cleanliness of the composition, and the dynamic angle. good job, I dig.

I'll get you next time, Spyda, next tiiiimmmmeeee!!!!

BUMP!!

Geezus, people!! You know you're in a low-profile draw-off when another Spiderman draw-off FROM LAST YEAR is still getting votes and no one has voted on ours in days.

Come on, people, I know it was set up badly with the links and all, but a lot of people did some good work here. Take a look!
