I tried to get this in yesterday, but couldn't get to an internet hook up.
well, I'm finally done with the pencils, still a bit blotchy, but this will be inked:

what I tried to do here, was make a thicker outline for the characters in the foreground and gradually get thinner as the background recedes.
In pencil it doesn't look like it worked.
Oh well, I'll hopefully be able to fix it in pen.
