seriously guys youīve done all great!

SpeedWobble:
i liked the pose and the tentrils and shading!

Raede:
awesome boots, gauntlets and face!

i voted for Dave's (dfbovey's) Creech --- because i think it has that totally cool "face" expression going on ... and i like the fact that the tendrils move towards the viewer like snakes! :eek:

Sorry I didn't finish mine guys. I ended up staying late at work tonight when I thought I'd be able to make it home to finish it :(

I voted for Thomas because of the dynamic pose and great shading. Raede's was very close though, love that style!

Raede's did it for me.
The amount of detail is scary :o

My vote went to saTHOMASo. Raede did agood job with the machinery but I liked Thomas' dramatic pose better. Too bad the pencils weren't as clean, though.

Musashi to be true - i donīt know shit about scanning and digitally re-editing stuff ... i just scan the pics with 300dpi, resize them to original size mostly (i compare the paper with the image on my 19" 1024x768 screen [pretty primitive huh?]), then i try to clean it up a bit by erasing the unneeded scanned-paper-areas around the acual image and finally i save them with photoshop as quality (medium - high; 5-7) Jpeg file

i don't know if thereīs anything wrong the way i do it, but i also noticed that un-sharp-effect.
maybe itīs because my buddy`s scanner (where i scan the images at) is a "NO-NAME" brand thingy ... dunno...

but thanks anyway ;pencil;

Thomas, if you have photoshop, try adjusting the "levels" by hitting CTL+L and moving the little triagles around. By doing that, you can make the whites whiter and the dark areas more crisp.

That's what I do to try to clean up the scan to get it as close to the original pencils as possible.

I may finish mine tonight, but I'll just post it at the drawing table when I'm done. :)

nice work by all -- it was very close. I went with Thomas for overall presentation. Raede's was the most dramatic, but the lighting/shading seems pretty haphazard.
