uhm.. what the heck happened to my post count!?

i posted once and i noticed my status was knocked down to 199 post! what the heck... what happened to my other 450 posts?

i think devilman's behind this, lookit the top 20 posters, lookit that lead he's got on top of all of us. that bastard...all for his stupid #1 title.

i'm missing about 3000 posts...haha.

Well, here's the situation - I just pruned some old threads the other day, and pruned some more after our recent spammer incident. Pruning threads, as you all know, helps keep the database lean and makes for a faster forum.

Somehow or other, this seems to also have deleted the old posts we had, whereas normally it wouldn't touch those records.

So let me look into it before you folks blow a gasket, and I'll see what's up.

yeah i was wondering how come some peoples post counts dropped so dramatically, though mine was only about 30. that and i saw someone who had like 50 posts and an avatar. but i guess this would explain how that happened as well.

last night i was sitting on 1979 posts...i was planning to put together one of those fancy photoshoppy comics to celebrate my birthday, today, march 4th, 1981 (which would have been my 1981'st post)
