I get a tremendous creative "fix" from watching Monster Garage. Jesse James inspires me (his work is awesome) , and just seeing these folks take ideas and drawings and turn them into reality in seven days .... wow. I love this show.

I dig Monster Garage quite a bit, myself. I remember actually being pissed off at the Hearse episode, so I guess I started getting into it. I have the Mini-Cooper episode on tape right now, as it happens...

i've only caught like three or four episodes: the beetle/swapboat, the limo/fire engine, and the geo tracker/hotair balloon. if there was another i watched i can't remember what it was.

Graet Show. Makes you want to go out and create something. Jessie's the man. Love his choppers as well.

Yeah, that's exactly it. The show is great for that.

Ever catch the West coast chopper secial with Jessie? Don't you feel like you too can go into any shop and just pound out a fender or design a wheel? I just saw a special on a custom car designer and builder named Fosse, Foose? Man I love that kinda stuff. Any thing that can be created by the hands like these twoguys can just impresses the hell out of me. But not only do they create unique and cool things they make the finished product look so good. Man it just shows you how many job or career oppurtunities there are in this country.

I'm actually planning on doing a 'monster' transformation on my '73 super beetle. I hate it, and I need a flat bed for moving my welding tanks, tools, and sculptures aroung. So I'm thinking I might chop the top of it and build a bed on the back with a couple roll bars. I love working with metal and I love that show.
...o...k....

A friend of mine turned his Beetle (original model) into a bed for his son.

That show is fun to watch. The paint jobs they give to the final product are just stellar. I think the wheelie ambulance was my favorite episode.
