Anyone up for a challenge?

a theme would be native warriors, or maybe something to that effect.
not necessarily warriors, maybe anything relative?
Anyone?

OK, one month from today.
Anything relative to Native peoples, in any land, any style, any medium of choice. It can be warriors at battle, ritual services, some chick on a horse, the wizard or shaman, a girl on a horse, whatever springs to mind.
due March 17.
sound good?

Well I'm done..Got a whole month to wait though...How much do you lack?

GroundHog

Oh really?
You must think yer a pretty bad mofo for finishing so soon.
Huh?
well, I just finished one native portrait 2 days ago and began on the third. These are for my uncle though.
Since you wanna talk shit I suppose I'll have to draw one up this weekend.:D
Then I'll ink it in next week.
Since you wanna be the "smack talker" here, I suppose I'll actually have to put forth effort.

BTW the only thing I lack is enough hours in the day to put up with my regulary scheduled bullshit. Be glad you don't have any of it.

One thing I don't lack is references and resources. . . .
;pencil;

Well for the first time i didn't really use any references for this pic, and went from memory..In fact i drew the whole thing at work. Not trying to talk smack but if I lose the draw-off I'll use refs next go round in the re-match..peace

i got the feeling this is one battle i can't miss to see how it turns out though i will not compete due to my own competition at this time (MS-paint) but this one sure is gonna be a cool one on one.

One thing I don't lack is references and resources. . . .

Hell if you did lack resources you wouldn't come up with the theme, right ?

So i bid you both a great competition and i'll be the first to vote :D

I got sick this weekend.
*cough cough*
no seriously.
I really did.
I AM still gonna open a can of whoopass on whoever has the testes to test me.

WHAT!

OK, umm, I lay it out tonight.
I draw it on wednesday.
I ink it.. . . . . hopefully sometime soon.
What medium did you use Propsdue?
If you used no inks, I'll leave mine devoid of ink.

hheeEEEEllloooOOOOO!!??? still around bud?

OK, well, I'm gonna "try" to upgrade my style on this one.
I got a nice layout, outlines drawn in so far. Most would probably consider this a finished piece but I'd say I still got a bit of work to do.

This one will be considered one of my masterpieces.
As in it will go on my site and look better than my last picture that I wasn't to ashamed to show the outside world (http://www.geocities.com/nonebula/Fight.html)
:D
no seriously. my mojo is going on this one. pencil sounds good. I hope to finish this weekend. who knows when the inks will be done, so we'll just make it a pencil comp so far.

Dang that looks nice...Is this where i start worrying?:(

GroundHog

Actually I'm kinda worried myself because I did the outlines and it took me like 1.5 hours, to lay it out.
I just spent one hour doing about 1/10 of one of the corners. . . sheesh.
Well, anyway I am definitely into this, but it's gonna be a bit complicated trying an attempt at a final technique type dealio.
Like once I finish this picture I think I'm gonna move on to other forms of drawing.
(ahem, instead of hacking off people who have already mastered this art stuff) ssshshshshshsh(quiet!)
You'll see what I'm rambling about. You shouldn't be worried, I am, because this one's gonna be crucial test of my own to execute, in pencil.

GroundHog

3 hours today. . . . *sigh*
I got finished with all outlines, a horse, a guy, and some grass fully rendered. . . . oh yeah and a tree.
I don't know how long this'll take. . . hopefully done by this weekend. . . for real this time.
That's why I gave an original deadline of a month.

OK, I have been putting in a massive quantity of time on this pic for the last 2 weeks. Almost done. really. I have 1/10 of a figure and the background (sediment rocks) to draw still.

Hope you're still around.
