this one was truely a tough one to choose between.

i knew that it would take a strong piece, for conman to stand a chance against dan. and i feel he pulled it off.

i do feel that dan seemed to drop the ball with his pencils though, but not with his coloring it is that which redeems his piece.

in the end i went with conman, due to the fact that i feel his piece is the stronger one overall, pencils, colors, layout, etc. don't get me wrong, dan's is one helluva piece, but i feel conman's is just a smidge better.

While I've known Dan for awhile now I know he's capable of more. I feel like the lightning is just a cheap flashy detail in most cases. So for me it kind of took away from your pic. So I voted for conman because I feel he put in more work and it shows.

Although, I must admit that even your weaker art still kicks my ass Dan.;)

I'll agree that Dan's pencils arent what they should be but that doesnt make the piece any less imposing. He still looks just more menacing than conman which kinda looks like Anakin in that pic for some reason.

BTW conman where did you get those Elvish fonts?

and conman's I almost always do..

i had to go dan on this one. conman's is cool, but i just REALLY LIKE dan's.

this was a great matchup. actually, most of these have been really good matchups. this was a great drawoff.

Looks to me like Conman put more thought into his, costume design and whatnot. Went with Con. Dan's is frikkin awesome though.

I feel like I have to vote for Dan just because I did in the other poll... but I think i'm gunna change my mind on this one. I really like both pieces... But now that i think about it, I KNOW what Dan is capable of and he just didn't seem to have the goods this time. Damnit, Dan... >_< The pencils are awesome in both and the colors are fantastic but Con's just has the extra oomph that Dan's is missin this time around. ;onei;

this was one hell of a contest.. i like both A TON! I think the biggest reason i went with danimation was because of the whole lighting effect and the shine it had everywhere.. made me stare at it longer.. Good job both of you.
