Voted for Steampunk. Both had their pros and cons, but there was something in Randy's drawing I liked better..

i really liked both pieces, but the thing that turned me away from usagi's was the emotionless expression on his face. with using such a dynamic pose, i really feel the face should have been showing us some sort of determination or something. instead it's just bleh.

Usagi's figure was really nice but the background is what turned my off, amybe a bit more time spent on the background especially on the tree's would have helped..Voted for Steampunks though I would've liked a bit more detail on the figures

yeah, their names are ali and katy ;)

i'll edit it up after i get home from work, but i meant to have "jailbait" written on ali's toque, so just imagine it's there...also imagine that the liefeld-esque hatching on her inner thigh is gone (because it will be in the updated version)

I liked Steampunk's overall coherence. I think Usagi's background detracted from the overall piece with all the sketchiness. The figure was great, but not the bg.

Nice pieces from the both of yas. I'm gunna go with Usagi though. Its more finished lookin... I admit that the inks are a little overdone lookin though. I'd like to see it colored, really! :D

I voted for steampunks, I felt the composistion was better just by set up, it was a little sparse though. usagis really grabbed me, very dynamic, good pose, the the background was to separate from the figure, almost clashing. It confused the eye.

i always find it hard to vote when my piece is involved...so i won't

i've gotta say, that clothing is INCREDIBLE, but the texture on the trees wasn't to my liking

i'm not really sure what exactly is *incomplete* about my pic (aside from the lame ass background, which should hopefully change if i can get a decent tag to shove in there), though i guess it would have to do with the shadows on my body compared to the gals, but oh well...i'm REALLY happy with my work, 2003 has started off with some pretty damn solid stuff from me, so that's encouraging, gotta say this whole drawoff has been SO much fun!

The shadows on Steampunk's pic are awesome, but I voted for Usagi on account of the wonderful flow and atmosphere. Good work, both of yez.
