Oh look, another tournament...yeah well you don't have to join if you don't want to. There are only six slots open. If you don't like the robots here to battle with...go make your own tournament. If you want in, call your robot. The deadline will be two weeks after all six slots are called and matches have been made. Anything goes...colors, inks, pencils, and even sequentials if you have that much desire to win.

Once all mechs are picked then I will randomly pair an eva against a gundam pilot. You would draw them doing battle...and well you would probably when your round in the tournament...

The next round will be the three winners drawing their mech against the other two guys to decide the king of mechs.

ok the matchups have been done, pulled random bits of paper for each pile (gundam and eva).

How about.

Some of the Mechs/Gui Melifs from Escawflowne (there are some pics somewhere on the net). I think it was produced by teh same peeps as gundam. Never really saw it go popular, but it was really cool all the same.

Or, how bout some of the transformers from transformers armada. They're pretty cool.

Or maybe some of the mechs from the mechwarrior series. they're not really the same type, but we could throw them to complete the set.

6 slots is not many, for such a cool dealy.

Yeah. That's a good idea. How about adding more robots? And yeah, Escaflowne was created by Yoshiyuki Tomino.(Gundam Guy) Possibly adding Gundams from better series's might be better.(The first series, 0080, 0083, 8th MS team, G unit, G Gundam, Gundam X, Z, ZZ, V, Turn A, SEED and whatever else I'm forgetting.) Maybe some Super Robots or something cool like that. We have a crazily huge variety of robots to choose from. :)

The reason there are so few slots is because people have a tendency to be all fired up, enter, and then never complete the project. The smaller the tourney (hopefully) the less likely that is too happen. I don't really know escanflowne...If you guys want to organize another tourney you are more than welcome.

Ok, situation update...chuckie and stray tanget have yet to let me know the status of theres...I sort of expected chuckie to bail...anyway. I'm thinking we should just post ya'lls 3 in a 3 way drawoff and cut the losses. (Mine was a mouse only and so not worthy...then I just spent 5 bucks scanning a pre-lim sketch to at least have something decent and when I emailed it to myself from kinkos it didn't send properly...so I lose five bucks and still have nothing to show for it. )

i hate it when i leave stuff hanging like this. i have a sketch ready too, but i won't get to a scanner until school tomorrow. Hybrid would've kicked my ass anyhow, seeing his is very throrough and well done and kick ass.
