30 Seconds?!

sorry if youve been asked this, but why is it with the "search" option at the bottom of forums...

1) its a 4 character minumum (not all words are that big!)

2) i must wait 30 seconds between searches... sometimes i have a typo and and like "oh shnap" but then i must pick my boogers and die slowly for 30 seconds, whats the dully?

The search feature is a huge drain on the forum software. The limits are there to ensure the search feature doesn't bring down the entire forum.
