I'm hoping some really commited artists will tackle this one. I want to see the best renditions of the Master of Magnetism.

Due Date: December 27, 2002.

That's 2 weeks from today. And I know a lot of students are already on winter break so there shouldn't be a shortage of time.

Who's willing to sweat it out and put their pencil/pen/brush to the test?!

Welcome aboard Allwayze. You'll be quite glad to have joined this challenge as I believe it will be a very competive one. Magnetos just looks great in any pose, and his costume is so bad ass.

He's also got an elaborate helmet but I don't have reference for that. Maybe you can look for it on google.

By the way, I'm half-way done. The pencils are done but I don't want to ink over the original. Instead I will scan the pencils, copy it then ink over the copy.

I'f been gone from this Board & Art for about a Year...
Some people might know me as K-MAN... But i dont think you'll remember me...To be honest I havent Drawn for nearly a Year And heck i miss it like Hell!!! 27 december is in 4 dayz... Damn you guys.

Have an old Magneto laying around... Kool stuff. Could post that to make the deadline for sure, I can Ink it, to make it like, new-work... or try and fix something up Really fast.

Been a year since I seriously made some art or held a pencil. wanna get back in here with you Guyz&Galz So i'll try and get it done...

and follow their procedures to post art. just copy the webpage addy for your image when u upload it, then do the usual posting here!

I tried to come up with a layout and pose for the Magneto yesterday... Damn, the Job you all asspire is frigging HARD!!!

I'ts not like the old days where art was natural... take it from me never Quit 4 as long as i did.

Now i Gotta try HARDER! And i Also have 2 work today...

This sucks. I didnt see the ref you posted the pose I had just happened to draw is a little like that but not too much and my style is different as well so I hope you guys dont think i was swipping or anything like that. Almost done though just have to go to kinks and reduce it:D

I think it was King Solomon who said "There's nothing new under the sun". It barely matters that you're pose is like the reference because no one can come up with a 100% original idea. It's due at 11:59 pm on Friday so do what you want before you have to send it in. Good luck.

It would be a shame for you to miss this draw off pacman, i've seen your work and I'm a big fan. Hopefully you can get it in on time. Even if you don't finish, you can still send in what you have as your entry.

So far I've only go Jetsin's pic, and boy is it a good one. Lovely colors, concept, and everything else. As you may or may not know, mine is in the color section of PJ so check it out if you have the time.

Please IM me or post your picture here so that I may add them to the poll. If I don't get your picture by 11:59 pm tonight I will not add your names to the poll. Sorry, but that is the best way not to clutter up the draw -off.

pacman23 yes i got your entry and i sent you a pm. It was a great one. I've gotten a few others as well so at least we know there will be a challenge. I will allow F15 a few hours after the deadline to have his pic in the thread or be sent to me through PM. Sorry about that. Even after I left the drop out notice I was still trying to sketch something Out. More than likely the picture will hit me when I'm sleeping or very early in the morn. It's the way it always is.
