Perhaps you can elaborate a little more on what it is that you want? RPG fantasy style, does that just mean normal fantasy style or exactly what does RPG entail?

I did a drawing a few weeks back that would fit into this, it was for another draw-off but the opponent flaked out on me. I'll enter it but only if you guys agree that it's ok. If not, I understand. But I'd hate for it to go unused. The character class is Warmage.

Basicly, my take on a War mage is a Warrior and a Wizard combined.

Standard Fantasy RPGs have Wizards (various specializations like Necromancers and such), Warriors and all their subsections (knights, barbarians, Rangers etc.), Clerics and Druids, Assassins and Thieves... basicly any character you would see in Lord of the Rings. I think you can choose any one of those classes or kinda make your own.

Then you have all the different races, the different kinds of elves (drow, wood, yadda yadda), dwarfs, gnomes... been a while since I've played Dungeons and Dragons though. I have no idea where to look online for reference. I think this draw off is right up your alley for sure!

Thank you for the clarification, Dave! And that piece you did for a previous draw-off is great!! Though I'm sure you could probably do something even more exotic now that you've already done one War Mage, but that's my opinion ;)

I'm not making any guerentees, but I'll at least try to get something done for this.

A tip for non-rpgers: mix & match. Take elements from different sources, cultures, ages, etc. and add a dash of magic. That's basically how the Final Fantasy series is revamped (Well, the "New School" ones at least).

Me, I'm going to try something I call a Gunmage. I have a soft spot for fantasy and firearms.

I have an elf ranger/paladin I drew a while back. I got lost in another two competitions I was in, but they're over. I'm tempted to try and digitally ink and color the piece for the competition, if it's ok with you all, as an entry? Even then, I'm not sure I'll have it in time, but I'd still like to try...

(Granted, as I've got some other things to do, I'm not sure I WILL be able to have it in by the deadline, but, just in case, i was wondering if it'd be eligable...)

Yes, the due date has been pushed back, oh happy day. I had just finished the pic not to long ago after rushing to meet the deadline but now i get to color it hmmm now it seems I could have come up with something different but thats alright I like what i came up with then again I always do ;)

Okay, this feels like Deja Vu so I am taking over this draw-off. Everyone PM me your entries and I will have them up as soon as possible. Mostly I will have them up by 5 o'clock tomorrow because obviously I won't get all entries today since some people will read this and others won't notice so that will give them enough time. By 5 o'clock tomorrow, that's what...21 hours from now I will have a poll up only for the entries that I have recieved with the exceptions of a few people because I've seen their work and can locate it easily.
