Has anyone seen this or heard about it? My brother, who lives in Japan, asked me to buy him some of the anime for Christmas, but it's not available domestically. I've seen on some of those weird DVD sites they've had box-sets for sale, but I'm kinda iffy about turning my credit card number over to a bootleg site.

If he's in Japan wouldn't make more sense that he get it? Call me crazy.....well alot of people have but thats beside the point.....wouldn't be more accesible their than here.

I think I made alot of people on this forum into big Initial D fans awhile back when I demanded the watch some episodes. The show is magnificent.

It's about a boy who is a racing prodigy and partakes in downhill mountain races. THe first season animation isn't all that great, and the car races are all CG, and don't really look that good, but the seasons afterwards get noticeably better. THe story is always awesome. I love this show with every fiber of my being.

From what i hear, the show is also crazy popular in Japan.
