Sorry HMG, but I really didn't have much choice in this. Nice return of style Dean, although I would have preferred it if your characters had a little more interaction between them, I prefer your rendering. Considering the time you did this in, it's an absolutely stonking piece. Beastie gets my vote

I like my Scarlet Witch, but don't like Slaine.

What I've noticed is although these are draw-offs of characters in battle, none of the entries actually look like there is one going on. I voted for Beastie though.

I did some thumbnails with fighting, well dodging actually, in a fight all you would see of Witchy would be her scarlet innards, but they were a little too misogynistic for my tastes, so I never pursued them. Kind of wish I had now.

Both are great.. very different styles... Beastie's a beautiful piece for sure, I'm REALLY diggin the shading there. HMGs.. hehe.. funny, and its one cool style.
I go with HMG for this one.

Beastie's is a work of art. Great shading and expression on the witch. Slain (I have no idea who that is) doesn't look as menacing as he does in HMG's. I love the contrast of HMG's pic. It shows off the characters well and it's fun. I coulda gone either way on this but leaned to HMG. JV

Ah, now that was because, if I colour this - her hand would be totally obscured by the 'magical energy field' that would be coming from her hand.

So I didn't put on any detail.
