Reyesart Studio Needs Writers!

Freddie E Williams II has been kind enough to donate his time and talent on helping other artists. We will have weekly assignment for artist in The Art of Drawing Comics, that's why we need scripts we want to concentrate on sequential art and storytelling. If you’re interested please Post in our forum or email Freddie or me. We're looking for 3 - 5 page scripts using established characters.

Do you have to do a whole rights and permissions thing, if you are using established characters? Do you get an educational licesning waver or somthing, or do you mean established characters from a specific publisher that you are working with?

(not wanting to be named in a law suit if I participate)

It's strickly for educational purpose. We are not reproducing or claiming credit for these characters. You can submit your own characters as long as your comfortable posting your creatation on the internet. :) Look forward to seeing some of your work.

Well that can open a can of worms, a tastey can of worms, but an intriguing one.

What you are giving is a chance to write an "unofficial" version of a well known character in a story that may be illustrated. Coolness. Busy with (believe it or not) non-fiction at the moment, but a great challenge to consider.
