Ok here goes...

1.) yes, draw your first character fighting his first character on the same page.

2.)this week, you only need to do the first round. just one sketch or drawing.

when your pieces are voted on the winner will keep his character, while the other guy has to use his second character to fight. and so on.

wei2kool4u: no, that depends on whether or not you can put up a good fight. the winner of this round will draw his first character again fighting the opponent's second character.

though after the first match up I will allow all contestants that have beat'n all three characters, to switch the order of their character. I'll edit it in the match ups and then we'll go from there.

Don't be dude. that was a pretty tough round. But now you know his fighting style. use that to your advantage. :D

also these matches are to be based on action poses and line work. not just the action poses. You can either take it easy in a round and play with only sketches, or you can go all out and make a drawing for the fight.

Base you votes on these two factors. not just one.

i think i'm gonna have to get better pencils to start doin this stuff, or try to figure out how to smooth it out in photoshop. i hate when my drawings look all scratchy like this. if you want to know what i used, sketched with H, shaded with HB, and outlined with a 2B.

sorry guys.. i really thought long and hard about this at work.. and I am pissed. I cram in whatever few hours I have to actually have a complete work.. where I didnt have time to look back and see and reflect on my work to fix some glitches(like chun li's foreshortening of the legs.) and I end up losing to a nicely rendered but nonetheless incomplete drawing.. Had I known this would just be a tonal study I would have just not have completed mine as well and just bust out my conte..


sorry damnation.. and sway... but I don't really have any hard feelings to the two of you.. My being just can't take this.. not even in college where someone hands in an incomplete assignment gets better marks than a complete one.. I guess the majority of people of here don't really like the way I draw..


so I am bowing out of drawoffs...

first it was the not drawing an ass for blink now its not making this to a tonal study... and losing to an incomplete work..

these will determine how much effort that you're putting into the matches. Like the game play at the arcades. drawing a sketch is like taking it easy in a fight. Drawing a finished piece is like going all out in a fight.
