Monday the 21st of October, Penciljack forum member Britney Walsh was in a car accident. Currently she is in stable condition, and her family and friends here in San Deigo can only hope for a quick release from the hospital and a speedy recovery.

We are asking all her friends and acquaintances to send her get well wishes and their prayers to make her feel better.

Everyone is invited to email her at britney_walsh@hotmail.com or frstygrphix@cox.net.

Please take the time to send a few kind words and let her know that we all will miss her during her time of recovery.

Thank you all very much for your time.

I want to personally thank everyone for responding to this post. It means alot to Britney's family, and Im sure, very much to Britney herself.
Currently she is being medicated so that she can get some rest. Her injuries are not life threatening, but she has been diagnosed with a mild concussion, neck injury, several broken ribs and a fractured left leg.
I have given the family my laptop so that daily they can read her all the wonderful emails that everyone has sent. I am sure that her family will reply to everyone as soon as they can.
As a long time friend of Britney's and her family I want to say to everyone that has emailed so far or plans to, thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. Britney's a great friend and a very intelligent and beautiful person. My wife and I wish her a full and speedy recovery.

For those who are not sure who Britney is on these forums, she either posts as britney, BritneyW or squeaks.

I typed that last response before I saw your second post. Kinda makes my e-mail sound a bit stupid since she's got e-mail access right now.

This was sent to me by Britneys dad:

"We would all like to thank everyone who has sent email prayers and wishes to Britney. This is a very trying time for all of us and your words mean so much more then Im sure many could even imagine.
It's a terrible thing as a father to see your child in a hospital bed suffering any form of pain or discomfort. I would give anything to take her place. We were all so moved today when we saw her face light up and to see her crying over all the wonderful emails that were sent by all you great people, I know in my heart that my little girl is going to be alright.
Im truly at a loss for words and I can not put down what all you mean to her as well as us. Total strangers taking the time to write to someone they don't even really know. Thank you so much for your emails, poems, prayers and art.

May God Bless you all.

Benjamin R. Walsh"

I think this says it all for everyone on the forum, you guys and gals are the best I think the web has to offer.

I want to thank everyone...and I mean everyone who posted here and sent me mail. :)
You guys are the best.
I feel like poo, but I should be able to go home tomorrow :) where I can get some sleep. For some reason it seems that your not allowed to do that in a hospital.
I am beginning to feel loopy from the medications I am being given so....I love you all and hugs to....
