alric wanted to do an art jam, so I quickly wrote something. If anyone wants in, go for it. He's doing pages 4-6, but anyone else who wants to draw those pages, feel free. It'd be cool to compare artists interpretations of the script. But we need some people to draw pages 1-3. So if anyone wants to do a page (PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE DO ONE!!!) post a reply with what page you want to try.
The due date is Friday, but I'm sure theres a grace period. If you don't get done, I'd love to see how far you guys get. Don't worry about perfection, just have fun with it.

1) The turtles are in their lair watching the weather. The t.v. is in foreground, and the turtles are in background. From left to right, Donatello is reading a book, Raph is folding his arms, Michaelangelo is holding the remote, and Leonardo is relaxing, arm on back of couch. You can add a coffee table in front of the turtles with empty pizza boxes if you want added detail.
2) A two shot of Raph talking to Michaelangelo. Both their heads are in the shot, talking to each other, but still watching the t.v.
Raph: THIS IS SO BORING, MIKEY. CAN'T WE WATCH SOMETHIN' ELSE?
Mike: HOLD YOUR HORSES, RAPH. THE YANKEE HIGHTLIGHTS ARE ALLWAYS ON RIGHT AFTER THE WHEATHER.
3)Closeup of the T.V. The news anchorman is at his desk with the text SPECIAL LIVE REPORT with perhaps the silouette of the fly man. The number six is on the bottom right corner. And if you don't want to letter all that, I can do it on photoshop later.
Anchorman:"THIS JUST IN. THERE'S BEEN ANOTHER FLY-MAN SIGHTING..."

1)The view is behind the turtles head as they watch the tube in the background.
"LIVE ON THE SPOT IS OUR VERY OWN, APRIL O'NIEL. APRIL, WHAT CAN YOU TELL US?"
Leonardo: IT'S APRIL!
2)The panel is from the cameramans point of view. April is in center frame with Channel 6 Microphone. A wall of a building is on the right of her. On the left of her, a dark figure is at the corner of the sidewalk beside the building. Don't put too much detail on the figure, because we want the readers to think it's just an average day joe's silouette, you can show light on the jacket or trench-coat, but keep the face masked in shadows (cuz its Baxter).
April: The police lines have been flooded all night from witnesses who say they've seen the Fly-Man fly around downtown Brooklyn.
3)April walks over to the man, microphone pointed at him.
April: HOLD ON A SEC...WE MAY HAVE A WITNESS. SIR, DID YOU GET A GOOD LOOK AT THE FLY-MAN?
The Man: WHY YES. AS A MATTER OF FACT.
4)The man turns and grabs her arm, his wings are expanded.
The Man: BECAUSE I JUST SO HAPPEN TO BE...
5)They fly off above and beyond the building.
Anchor man: APRIL...APRIL!!!

7)Reaction shot of the turtles freaking out. We don't see the t.v., just the light hitting the turtles shocked faces. Off camera we hear the Anchorman's voice.
Anchorman: MY GAWD...
1) This can be a group shot of all the turtles, or a series of head shot panels. Whatever works, but we need some turtle heads who are shocked with this news, mouths open, so we can fit these next pieces of dialogue in. You could also split up this dialogue with the Turtles gearing up perhaps... whatever looks works for you guys...
1)THAT WAS BAXTER!
2)WITH APRIL!
3)WHATS HE DOING BACK HERE IN THE CITY?
4)I DON'T KNOW, BUT I'LL BET HE'S BACK AT HIS OLD HANGOUT.
5)Close-up of Raph screaming in rage! Pointing perhaps.
EVERYBODY, GET IN THE VAN!
3)The turtle van takes off leaving the manhole cover and manhole behind. The van can be in the foreground and the manhole is behind, or vice versa. And if this shot just won't come together.... scrap it. It's not 100% necessary to tell the story.

1)A long shot of Baxter's lab. Baxter puts April in one of the two Cronenberg Fly Pods. There is light hitting the floor supposedly from the skylight, but it looks like the light came from the window (which would look better anyways). If you could pull this view off as looking down through the skylight, go for it. If not, just make that window cast some light in there. And the pods light up inside, for another added light source. I highly suggest using my reference as a guide for what the room looks like. Allthough, any small changes or added details you want to give, go for it.
2)Through the window April is covering her bits and is mad. Yelling at Baxter. You don't have to show the window if you dont want to.
April: LET ME OUT OF HERE, YOU PERV!
3)The flyman is over by the podium, pressing buttons with his back turned, or hidden by the shadows. He's pressing buttons.
Baxter: NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING SEXUAL. I NEED YOU FOR A MUCH MORE IMPORTANT PURPOSE.
4)We see the fly man's face close up for the first time. He's turned toward april out of view.
Baxter: YOU WILL MAKE ME HUMAN AGAIN.

1)The turtles are on guard in the top right of the panel. Glass is everywhere. Baxter is in the foreground holding a remote up. You can just show his head and hand. Whatever looks good to you.
Baxter: THE TURTLES! PERFECT TIMING.
2)Close Up of Baxter's hand pressing the remote.
Baxter: NOW I CAN INTRODUCE YOU TO MY NEW FRIEND.
3)The backs of the turtles are in the foreground... Baxter is in the background with one or two of the pods visible. The garage on the right side of the panel extends from where Baxter is in the background and goes off the panel. The door is a quarter the way up and rising.
Sound FX: Vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

4)We show the relative size between the GIANT ROBOT and the TURTLES AT GUARD
Another Turtle: A GIANT MOUSER!
