TIME TO SIGN UP FOR 2003 MoCCA ART FESTIVAL!
The Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art is proud to announce that it is accepting Exhibitor Applications for the Second Annual MoCCA Art Festival!
The first annual Art Fest, held this past June in New York City, was an overwhelming success. Over 2,000 fans, pros, and press showed up at what the Village Voice dubbed the "Best Small Press Nexus (Anywhere)" in their Best of New York 2002 issue.
Next year’s show is already slated to be bigger than ever! The Fest will be held on June 22nd, 2003, from 11 am until 7 pm at The Puck Building, located at 293 Lafayette Street, New York City. This historic site was named after the legendary satire magazine that was published there from 1887 to 1916. Creators already slated to attend include Jeff Smith, Jessica Abel, James Kochalka, Jamal Igle, and Alex Robinson along with publishers Top Shelf, Highwater Books, Alternative Comics, Drawn and Quarterly and Monkeysuit Press.
All proceeds will benefit the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art. Interested exhibitors should check out the official web site for table prices, deadlines and a downloadable Exhibitor Application:
