Greetings
Hi there, my name is Frank Dirscherl, I'm a 29 year old TAFE student from NSW, Australia, and I'm new to this forum.

I'm also an assistant editor and writer for upcoming comic book publisher Impulse Studios, and I hope it is okay for me to let the people of this forum here know of this great publisher.

Impulse Studios was started in 2000 by Shane and Jayme Melton because of the need for talented artists, who were being passed up by the bigger companies, to get some published work under their belts. What would happen next was completely unexpected... response was overwhelming, and they decided to begin publishing on a monthly basis and giving the "big three" a run for their money.

Their first title, CATALYST, hits the stands in November of 2002. After that, they will begin debuting new titles every few months, with the creators doing projects that they believe in. Titles such as The Wraith, Shadow One, Semantic Lace, Badguys, Eternity and others are on their way in the coming months.

Impulse are giving writers and artists the creative freedom that is denied by bigger companies, because they realize that the best work is that which has passion behind it. Impulse Studios is committed to becoming a household name in comics, and they promise a quality product that isn't thrown out for the sake of sales. Anything you see from Impulse is from the heart, and they are very lucky to have the opportunity to work with creators who just need a chance to show what they are capable of.

Learn how to submit work to Impulse, and learn how you can go the self-publish route, via Impulse's new "Chain Reaction" program.

As well as featuring newcomers such as myself, Shane & Jayme Melton, Bobby Nash, Blake Wilkie, Jeff Austin, Jason Bostick, Rick Welch, Nathan Hall, Sherard Jackson, and many more, respected professionals such as Joe Edkin, Roger Stern, John Ostrander, Mindy Newell, Mike Sellers and others are also contributing to the Impulse world of comics!

Thank you very much for taking your time to read this announcement. If you wish further information re: Impulse Studios, please do not hesitate to email me at frank@the-wraith.com, and please visit the Impulse Studios website at http://www.geocities.com/impulsestudios2002/

I think that if you are a serious publisher you should move to a paid web host and get off of geosh**ies where you have broken links, and get shut off due to excessive bandwidth usage.

Check pepperjack.com, that is who I use.

TheWraith,

Nice website!Hope the things work well for you guys.
I also agree with Phil's advice you should try another web host. Geocities is the worst of them all.

Lots of new items of interest on the Impulse Studios site. Make sure to check them all out. We're looking for ideas and creators to join us. See the site for all the details.

And just as a heads up - this is only a temporary site until we move to a paid and professional service in March, just in time for national/international distribution of our titles.
