I don't know.
Someone on a different forum had said that Bane turning out to be Bruces half brother was one of the worst moments in comic history.
After that no on commented on it. It was a big thread on worst times in comic history and all the other examples have actually happened.
I had just never herd of this little bit of bat info before.

Someone's making stuff up. There's no way they could shoehorn that into their continuity.

No one disagreed witht the guy or even questioned it so I just thought I was way out of it. I didn't think it could be done.

In a recent ish Bane showed Batman a pic of his mother with Bruce waynes father. Looks like he was implying that they're half brothers.

That would be so lame. What's the point?

Well in one of the newer batman books (can't remember which one), on the very last page, Bane is in the Batcave with Batman, Robin, and Nightwing and says something like, "Well, you and me are quite alike... Brother". Then it has all 3 people looking in shock as well as Oracle who's on the batcomputer screen.

Bane already broke Bruce's back. That should have been enough to make things personal between them. Bane is a great villain when they play up his intellect. But to make him Bruce's real-life half brother is just asinine. Hopefully it's just Bane f'ing with Batman's mind.

that's the one I'm talking about. All that happens right after he shows him the photo.

Well, it's not THAT bad of an idea really. I mean, if there has to be one man alive who can whup Batman's ass, why not have it be his brother?
But still, what are the chances?

It happened in a Gotham Knights story. I doubt it'll be revealed to be true. All Bane has is a picture of Bruce's father with Bane's mother.
And considering it isn't happening in one of the major Batman titles, I don't think it will go too far.

when i first heard about it, i couldn't believe my ears. you see i basically do all of my artwork out of a comic shop, and one of the guys there had mentioned something about it. then of course most of us had to talk about how f***ed up it was to even do a thing like that. the only exception to that was the guy who brought it up. he thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, but he's a freakin moron anyways.;bat;

It'd be funny if it was true.

i thought Bane's whole origin hinged on him being raised on an island prison to pay for the crimes that his father committed?
Yet another reason why DC, as a whole, sucks monkey butts. Aside from Preacher and the Wildstorm canon, the majority of their stuff is a crapshoot...
