I just read in Wizrd that Dale will be doing pencils for The Darkness. I hope he can maintain the deadline cause I'd like to see more than one issue every 4 or 5 months. I guess since they'll be coloring his penciled drawings they're cutting time by not having an inker.

**edit** added the Darkness pic by Dale

I've added a picture. Which I think is pretty awesome. I've always been a Kweon fan and him doing the Darkness with all the little monsters in it should be really cool

this actually seems to be a way more detailed pic than what I remember from his P>I>T>T> days. I think it looks fantastic.

I really want to check this out

I have alot of faith in Keown. He can do some really knock out work when he wants to
I just wish he would change that obnoxious signature

man, now I am going to have to start buying the darkness :). I used to really like Keown's art when he was on PITT, but this just looks fantastic, I agree with John it looks way more detailed than his older work from what I remember.

There is a 5 page preview in Wizard #134. I am holding it my grubby hands right now. The art is KILLER. Go buy it.

Dale's style seems like a perfect fit for this character. I'm going to be picking it up!

I think it's kinda funny that his name has been spelled three different ways in this thread...

Kweon... Keown... Koewn...

His work here definitley looks better than his Pitt days... I wonder if he himself still looks on the verge of death? Great to see him working again!

Keown is the correct spelling :D

There were rumors of some kind of drug addiction with Dale. I certainly hope that if those rumors were true, that those problems are over for him.

He's definately one of my favorite artists when he is on his game.

I bought that poster in San Diego :p

I agree, his art will fit the character perfectly. Looking forward to it.

From what I've read his pencils are extremely detailed which is why no one is inking them. They just do the coloring over the pencils. At least thats what they've recently with some of his covers.

He always did look a bit strung out... it was guessed that he was ill somehow, but either explanation would serve. Either way, he was always having problems with production and deadlines. Made Joe Mad look like Johhny-on-the-spot. Hopefully he's better now, one way or another. He's a good artist, it's be a shame to let illness of any sort hold him down.

I may start Buying comics again just to see what Dale's up to. Dale's one of the true anatomical wizards out there. He was doing some Superman covers just before getting this gig. I was hoping he would have matured and advanced his art to a higher level, like Travis Charest. But so it goes.
