The origin of hulk's power.

Is the ultimate hulk birth due to just a serum like cap's?
was it laced with gamma radiation..?
or is it just like a normal steriod?


if it is only some genetic serum or and steriod derivitave. do you guys like this?

and if you do I guess does it means you guys support the ang lee hulk which to my current knowledge is serum based also.


I wish it still had something to do with a nuclear explosion...:(

I think it was a gene serum or something.. That might explain why in Ultimates Banner mentioned that there was "no trace of Hulk genes" in him. Now it's a mix of Hulk serum and Cap's blood, which contains the super soldier serum.

Is that the same way they're going for the Hulk movie?

I like the new stuff okay, since I know the current applications of Gamma radiation (mostly used to sterilize surgical tools and medical implants after manufacture-- the radiation just kills any kind of organism in, on and around said object) I can't go with that as an explanation anymore.

Well, before Marvel started more clearly defining things, I had assumed that MOST Marvel characters were mutants. Some's powers developed naturaly, as others mutations were triggered by outside forces (radiactive spider bites make you climb walls, cosmic rays set you on fire or make you rocky or stretchy or invisible, or gamma rays make you get big muscles or your brain swells up).

I am SOOOOOOO much smarter than those Marvel chumps.

Cloak and Dagger got their powers that way. They took drugs that activated their "latent mutant powers" AND also gave them costumes. Yep, drugs gave them those costumes. So if you can buy that, then getting bathed in radiation = superpowers is a lot less of a stretch.

the fact that you're not already on massive amounts of drugs scares the hell out of me, man ;)

how about the earth x explanation...EVERYONE has powers, right? it's just that some of them were triggered (whether by explosions, bites, rays or puberty) and some weren't

i realy hope the hulk movie is done as well as as spiderman! this will make the comic to film thing that much stronger. when i saw the preview my jaw hit the floor.
