I need you guys to list all the sites you know of for downloading music.

I can't find shit i'm lookin for.

I hate kazaa, limewire, bearshare....

Please help me...:(

Are there any sites that are good for like one genre of music?

Like a good site to get new hiphop stuff?

Or a site to get metal?

I miss napster so much.

PS
(random>>)the new J5 album is sweet!

Kazaa Lite is spam and spyware free. It works fine on weekends, but most of the people I know are on either eDonkey, WINMX or some other thing where you have to set what servers you connect to.

J5 got a new album out? I'm out of the loop!

i didn't think the new j5 was out yet. of course i've heard the whole thing already 'cuz we got the promo advance copy in at the radio station, but i didn't think it was out publicly yet, i thought it's out on like the 8th or 9th or sumpin....

...but i agree, it is AWESOME.

i use iMesh, and i haven't had any problems with it. i hated kazaa, 'cuz it infected the bejeezus outta my computer.

You shouldn't be downloading an entire album anyway. :)

Go and buy it

I'll repeat what Paul said: Damn you!

You probably get more than the measly $5.35 I was getting at the CD store back in '98 as well!

The Jackson 5, a popular group from the late '60s to early '80s. They essentially broke up when their lead singer embarked on a solo career and became a megastar.

I didn't know they got back together. Is this a new incarnation? Or did Michael get the group back together?

**edit 1 -- If it's Jurassic 5 then I just found every single track from Power in Numbers on Kaaza.

But don't download them  that would be bad -- edit 1**

**edit 2 -- well it is Jurassic 5 then -- edit 2**

or shot callin,
we just takin back to "yes yallin"!

J5 is the most refreshing thing since Tribe Called Quest.
to be able to flip lyrics like they do on EVERY song its incredible.

they need to pull Phife, Charlie Brown and Kwame out of hiding and get with some othe rnative Tongue artists and wreck shop

i use Kazaa lite and seldom have a problem.

its adware/spyware has been neutered, and i hafta be searching for something pretty far off the beaten path to have trouble finding anything.

i might try iMesh, too, though.. it's always good to have a few standbys in the ol' software arsenal.

i can't wait to snag the J5 album.
