This round goes to Beatie, to be honest, I prefered Fastball's pose, but Dean's layout and linework are just more polished.

Yeah, Beastie gets mine too.
I actually did another more complete drawing, on toned paper with charcoal pencils, but I wasn't sure if it was within the rules guidelines so I just posted the working drawing.

I almost couldn't make Beasties out but it looks finished.

I have to agree there.

If there wasn't a title to this thread with the character's name in it I would have never guessed this was Thanos. Still a very cool style, but I think that with this new style you seem to be experimenting with, you need to work out a way to make the characters recognizable.

I still voted for you though. I loved the line weights and the bold style despite what I just said and Fastball's just looks incomplete.

Beasti get's the vote though it is a bit hard to read.

In my OP you may have wanted to add some smaller detailing to the face and chin. Doesn't fit with the rest of the style you've got going on, but that's what would make it stand out and help you identify where his face is, and draw the reader's eye there. Honestly, when I first glanced at the pic, his chin had me going for teeth.

Fastball's got some nads for the self policing, so my vote for Beasti isn't a vote against FB. Hopefully somewhere else here I'll find the other one, because it looks like it would have developed into a nice old skool Kirbyish Thanos. Getting a wedgie of course!
