He looks like the Toad kinda, what's with that? There's a strand of mutant gene that makes you stop bathing!!

And I'm not too sure about the pajama bottoms.

Sometimes, I think that the costume designers are trying to piss us off.

Just saw this at aint it cool news, so take it with a little grain of salt. I'm not saying they can't be trusted, I'm just saying they can't be trustedbut the pic looks good so far. If DC/Warner Bros. could get themselves together Like Marvel, We could have some major DVD's to add to the ole collection. Anyways here it is.

hm little bit of a crotch shot there....but i guess when you have a tail life is tough

He's all blotchy like he's got combination skin. He needs Neutragena SkinCare.

And the tail looks fake. I know tails like that don't exist in real life anywhere, but they could have checked out some old Byrne stuff and used that stuff to make a more natural, fluid looking tail.

i'm really gonna hold my tongue on this... I remember railing against the first X-men based on the 'character sheet' pics that were released. Remember how horrible Wolvie looked in that pose? but then when the movie came out, and you saw these characters living and breathing, the whole thing changed. Hopefully it will be the same this time...

I don't remember seeing Wolverine in that pose, but I remember that movie sucking when I saw it.

ah well, to each his own. I thought the X-Men movie was pretty damn good. Maybe I'm just not jaded enough...

I think it looks pretty good. The reason he's dressed that way is because he's found as a homeless Gypsy mutant or something.

Eh, what do I know?

Vaught, you're so old.

Don't you know hate is the "in" thing? It's "cool" to hate everything.

HEYYYYY!!!!! How did I wind up getting second billing? I was the originator of this post/thread. I want top Billing or else I'm gonna throw a hissy fit like Tom Daschle.

I thought the first movie lacked Dialogue and was a little slow paced and the overall movie was very tentative and overly cautious in it's approach. From the teaser It looks like singer may let it loose this time and give us a more vibrant and quicker paced flick. I think the tail is just a stand in. They'll most likely use CGI to give it some life. Can't wait to se him attacking the President and then vanishing. Also can't wait to see him crawl and vanish in the shadows.

it IS hip to be square. . . . at least when your doung the cool things and not just sitting around admiring what someone else has done. . . (like the nerds draw the comics, the cool people read them and define the parameters of cool)

Anyway, I think it looks juuuust like nightcrawler, and I'm anxious now to see how he does in the movie.

I just went to the site to check some stuff out. It's freaking hideous. Well, that's a little harsh, but the yellow random bullshit that keeps popping up was enough to make me dig my eyes out and throw them at the computer monitor. Now, i have to use my other overdeveloped senses to type and make my way around the world.

I don't know..I still felt the same after I saw the movie as I did when I saw the pic of the characters. I had the "bleh" feeling. It was like the movie didn't suck, but it was far from great.
It ranked lower than all the other recent Marvel movies I've seen.
I keep wondering why people were raving about it. I wouldn't even put it in my top ten favorite comic book movies.

I'm not jaded. It's just that a team of (mostly) beautiful people in gimp leathers fighting some old dude with a Make Your Own Fishman Gyroscope makes me want to do something cooler with my 7 bucks. I've been pretty damn impressed with the other set of Marvel flicks. Honestly, if they'd have had Magneto doing ANYTHING less stupid than wanting to mutate people, I'd have enjoyed the flick a lot more. There was some comic where he killed a Russian sub crew and stole all their nukes and decalred himself a soverign nation. Something like that would have been a hell of a lot cooler in my opinion.
