I just looked at a post in the storytelling board and was reminded of something. Does anybody know what happened to that Dark Horse book STERANKO:NOIR? It was a graphic novel I think, but it was supossed to have came out a long time ago so I'm not really sure. Is there any collected versions of STERANKO'S black and white crime works besides this?Or any other books with that heavily shadowed "noir" stlye? Any help would be appreciated, thanks, allgold.

That Steranko book came out in 99. I dont think i ever saw it anywhere though
You should be able to find it (order it ?) on the Dark Horse website

The only other really noirish crime book is the ineffable Sin City

And though i dont think it would technically qualify, but you may like Mr. X by Paul Rivoche i think you can get it through Fantagraphics

The latest previews had a Steranko work listed called Arte Noir.
We were just talking about this over at Craig Russell's site.

Yeah, I saw that book in Previews. I'm gonna order it on wed. It costs 50 bucks, but I really enjoy those kind of books, plus its signed. The steranko book that came out on dark horse was called RED TIDE. Its been out of print for a few years. I've been looking around on ebay, but havent seen anything yet. Anybody know of a good site for hard to find and out of prints books like this?
