So there are a ton of talented folks here. Im just wondering what everyone done for a living, other then being an aspiring comic artist.

I'm semi-unemployed, graphic/web designer/animator.

I work as a graphic designer for a marketing/ad agency which pays the bills.

I have been hired by Second Wave Studios to do a comic called "Intrepid".

I also do freelance Illustrations on the side.

Well, I would hope the alternative to doing comics isn't fast food worker, even though when I got my first job penciling, I was working at KFC.

I've worked in retail for the last 12 years. I am now working part-time, earning a modest wage, while finally getting my own comic underway.

I co-ordinate a Quality Assurance scheme aimed at out of school childcare throughout the UK.

No fun at all.

I also do the odd design job, knock up basic websites, interior re-design - that kind of thing........

I've got an associates in animation that I can't really use right now... I do want to go back to school. Very badly... but there are other things goin on right now and I'm unemployed... so yeah, I'm hungry and I like cheese. :p

I'm a currently a freshman in college with a premed major going for pulmonary surgery when I get to medical school. I pretty much have no life because of it. I havn't studied this much in all of my life. I'm unemployed (no time for that) but still pretend that I'm drawing for a commission during my spare time.

I wish I had the balls to go into the art profession. My friends and family "persuaded" me not to. Grrr.

I unfortounately got too comfy with my job as an apartment manager (no rent, no bills, free cable and free time to draw) and, just as I was going to go back to school, my company got rid of the building I managed and the new company brought in their own manager so now I'm struggling as a leasing agent. I'm going back to school but I need to find a job that will pay enough for rent and bills yet leave me time to get my portfolio nice and spiffy (gonna apply to CalArts again and do it with student loans if I have to this time). I'm thinking of instaling cable (don't laugh, I'm serious). They make pretty good money and they get to choose their hours.
The saddest part is that I do like cheese but I'm becoming lactose intolerant (okay, now you can laugh).

I'm a graphic designer for a place called MediBadge. It's all inhouse work and
boring as hell. No real chances to broaden the creative mind set.
Never really wanted to be a comic artist though. Always enjoyed drawing and comics but realized that I'm one of those few people that just enjoy the feild and dont need to be in it.

at the mo im working on a job i got from the chinese triads, its to assasinate bill gates.

anyway im 14 so im still in school working towards my gcse's those who dont know who they are, there tese big tests you have that basically determine how your life plays out!
