I just got Certified!

I have been taking a class in PC maintenance, and I just this afternoon passed the second of two certification tests. I now have a CompTIA A+ Certification, which means... I can work on PC's professionally now.

Now I just have to find a job.

The best news, it didn't cost me a dime. The whole thing was paid for by a government grant program. :D

Just out of couroisity what kinda stuff did you actually learn about? And if you don't mind me askin'-how does one apply of become eliglbe for such a grant?

Check with the state employment office in your area for information about the H1-B Grant. It may or may not be running out soon though. I learned everything I need to know to build, troubleshoot and maintain a PC, both hardware and OS from Windows '95 - Windows 2000. It was very interesting.
