I heard this on the radio today. The moron DJ called them Audio Vent twice before someone corrected them. I hate Houston.

I heard them and I seriously wish they had De La Roca back or whatever his name is.

De La Rocha wore on me after a while. I like this combo.

De la Rocha also can't sing. I'm not much for rap anyways. Some songs sounded cool but I thought it was hit and miss from track to track with the Rage stuff. The Instrumentals always amazed me though! Adding a dynamic and talented lead vocalist just makes the band better in my opinion. I'll reserve final judgement till I hear more songs with Cornell. But I definately like what I've heard so far.

I don't know.
I like Chris Cornell, but.. Rage is rage. They have the most unique and recognisable style about them.
The singing was no exception.
But, rage will always rock.
I hope this goes well..

I liked Rage against the machine.
Alot.
I liked soundgarden.
OK.
I'm not sure if I care much for this match up these days anyway.
They're both OLD :) (Just like my taste in music, wrinkled and out of style)

i'm "meh" towards rage...hit and miss is right! some of it rocks hard, but other stuff is just blah (to me)
chris cornell is incredible, soundgarden, temple of the dog, solo, he's great!
this combo sounded interesting, to say the least...when the single came on the radio yesterday, it sounded like any other rage song...adding cornel's vocals was a strange mix, but interesting...
i won'[t buy the record (because my list is long, and i've yet to buy those, so this *definitely* won't be purchased), but i doubt i'll switch the station when it comes on
I liked Rage Against the Machine the way they were and this is definetly not a replacement. Chris Cornells voice is just too clean for it, also his sound is a little outdated. In my opinion, they should find someone with a dirtier voice that raps. I love the sound but the voice doesn't match it, I mean thats not to say Chris Cornell sucks becauses he obviously doesn't but he just doesn't mix well with the Rage garage sound.

Whats Zack up to, is he doing fine art now or running a militia or something? Anybody heard of any news of him since he left his band?

I heard he's got a solo project in the works with MixMaster Mike contributing as the DJ.
I'm looking forward to that.:D

Wow.
I just listened to the track and damn. I like that shit.
I like Rage and I like Soundgarden, and I now like Audioslave.
I don't think of this new band as a replacement for either. I think of it the way I think Perfect Circle is to Tool.
You know what I mean?

Didn't audioslave already break up like way earlier this year? I thought this record was supposed to come out anyways though, but earlier in the summer?

I think Cornell left and then got back on board.

I heard he's fighting against evil ninjas in the jungles of South America, but I could be wrong.
They broke up earlier (they were called Civiliian back then) but they got back together by popular demand or something. This kind of sell outtage is pretty ironic, neh?

I like Zak. He's not so much anti-american as he is anti-super rich, white people f**king over the minorities and taking advantage of them to serve their own greed.
But I guess since America is controlled by super rich, white people that f**k over the minorities and take advantage of them to serve their own greed, you could say that De La Rocha is an anti-american. You could also say that I'm anti-american.
You can't deny the FACT that america was founded on stolen land that was "earned" by killing off the majority of the native inhabitants and claiming the land for themselves.
I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just pointing out an important part of american history that might help explain why some people feel the way they do about this nation.
I'm done. :)

I see the error of my ways. Man did no evil unto himself before 1776. How could I have ever been so foolish? Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?

Uh Oh.
Sell outtage? I think the defenition of selling out is when a person will do something that they hate, just for the money.
But if a person is doing something they love because they love doing it, and they make lots of money, that's just being a good business person.
I'm not sure what those guy's motivations are, so I won't say they sold out and i won't say they haven't.
I will say that when Rage started appearing on MTV I thought to myself, "What the hell?!".
