Let's not forget "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure", but let's do forget "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey".

I'd have to agree with the BTF people.

I love time travel movies.
My favorites, in order:

1) Time Bandits
2) Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
3) Back to the Future I
4) The Time Machine (George Pal version, not the recent remake...)
5) Back to the Future II

Masters of the Universe. That Gwildor dude scooted what's her name back in the past before her parents got nuked in the plane crash. Not.

I rented some super low budget Japanese flick a few weeks ago called Dimension Travelers, and it turned out to be a pretty damn badass movie on crossing dimensions and messing with fate and crap.

The correct answer is:

The last ten minutes of Superman.

Speaking of Superman, what about Somewhere in Time, the movie starring Superman and Dr Quinn where he goes back in time via self-hypnosis?

Yeah, it's one of those chick movies.

Groundhog Day

:Somewhere in Time: is based on the Richard mattheson book, "Bid Time Return", so it gets my vote.

oooo

12 monkeys was off the chain.

BTF

not too many movies dealt with time travel.

but OUTER LIMITS as a series takes the cake.

That was Malcolm McDowell, from A Clockwork Orange fame! Great movie!!

I have to say one of my favorite time/dimension travel movies is Howard the Duck! I loved that movie as a kid!! Also Planet of the Apes! :)

It had potential, the concept was good, but the goofy Pee-Wee Herman antics knocked it off my list. I always thought they should've made Sarah Jessica Parker the kid's girlfriend, all grown up.

"12 Monkeys" was excellent. "Groundhog Day" was great, but not a time travel movie.

Here's another one: it was a TV show and not a movie, but does anyone remember "Voyagers"?

I think the guy who did Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Signs should do a time travel movie next. That would rock!
