I just stumbled across his homepage and it sent me on a sentimental flashback tour. It was apes ago since I saw a movie with him. They aired "Trinity is still my name" last summer and I HAD to videotape it of course. I wish they showed more coz those cheesy spaghetti westerns and big brawl flicks are so much fun to watch. All I ever knew about Terence Hill is that I had a HUGE crush on him when I was a kid and it sort of comes back when I watch those 70's movies - they're still awesome. Him and Bud Spencer deserves a spot in the motion pictures hall of fame. :)
I just realized when browsing around the official site ( www.terencehill.com) how much I didn't know about him, how insanely many movies he's been in, how freaking OLD he really is (and it hardly shows) and how they (him and Bud flicks) just sort of vanished. When vhs was hitting the scene back when just about every video rental shop had a motherload of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies. Now I can't seem to find any. *sob* So now I'm contemplating byuing a dvd player, get a credit card and get all the dvd's possible.
Do any of you remember this awesome movie couple too?
Penny for your thought and comments about these kings of spaghetti westerns!!

I really don't have a reply to this thread, I just liked the use of the word "apes".

I feel just the same, Terence Hill is one of the greatest heroes of this century ;-)

I love all his movies, especially the Trinity series and "My Name is Nobody".

Luckily, I live in Europe and he is on TV here at least once a week!

It's a miracle to me why he hasn't made it big in the States.

All the best!

I remember that guy's movies. I used to watch those things all the time with my dad when i was young, he loved so naturally i loved em too. I then learned to appreciate it for myself after actually watching it when i got older.

Boy it is amazing what you find on the net, aint it?!?!

LOL Trinity, did you make that handle just for this? I totally love the Trinity movies. They're cheap and b and totally, totally awesome. :) Where in Europe are you?? Once a week??? I WISH!

punisher, exact same thing here! The brawls are so funny and the 'characteristic' slamming fist on the noggin from Bud. haha, I laugh when I think about it. I've found some dvd's so I'm going to try and hunt down as many as I can. They're cheap too. mouahahah

I'm easily amused. :D

MC & bushi, I have to devote a little time aside for other things than praising the cheesemaster.

ooops sorry, but the coolest cowboy hero deserves a bump, even if it's 4 years old ;-) "My name is Nobody" has been shown on TV in the US a few times lately, some more of his movies have been released on DVD too, thought I'd get the conversation going again!
