I'm gonna go with red7ine. For one, because I like his better. It's bigger, more menacing looking and all that. For two, because I don't believe for a minute that Doomsday, the beast that killed the man of steel, would resort to terrorizing...a child.

"NO!! Stay away! I told you I don't have any more Reese's PiecesŪ!!"

LOL, RaHavok is going to eat the little child. I like both of them but RaHavoks seems a little plain and his anatomy is off in some places. My vote goes to the Red7vine.

Not all in vain after all, Red7ine: You're trashing me good.

Good luck in the final.

Red's is a lot more dynamic.

Had to go with Red's. Like it's been said, it's just more dynamic and D-Day just looks more massive and crazed.

I really liked yours too, though, Ra. I like the rendering a lot as well as the concept. The pecs seem off on D-Day.... and if the perspective were different... maybe a worm's eye view, for example... I might've gone with yours.

Nice job, da both o' yas.

ok, i'm gonna give the secret to my name...

I had never touched a computer before, and I got a job with Lexmark printers (they are/were based here in Kentucky) as a 'presale agent': people would call up and ask what kind of printer would be best for them, and I would try to snowball them into getting a laser printer :) I'm pretty good as BS'ing, so I got the job, even with zilch computer experience, and did pretty damn good at it.

well, this being the first time I was ever on the almighty internet, i soon found 2 things: porn and email. So i go to create a hotmail account, and I try everything I can think of to create a unique username (95% of them had something to do Star Wars ) and couldn't get one that I wanted ... a guy that I worked with had a copy of a game called 'Redline Racer'... a really crappy racing game. OK, so I decided my new 'internet name' would be 'redline'... ooh, cool and mysterious. only it was taken. so i took the 'L' in REDLINE and turned it upside down and 'voila', i got RED7INE, which seemed, at the time, even cooler and mysteriouser.

So, i just kinda stuck with it... if there is free email out there, i've got it taken... red7ine@yahoo, @hotmail, @mail, @comic, @ign... it's kinda nutty.

and there you have it... the sad, sad truth behind 'red7ine'

and i don't think there is a way to pronounce it right... when i 'say' it in my head i hear 'redsevenine' or 'redsign'... but feel free to call me 'vaught'.. i don't think anyone has used my first name in years...

vaught

you know i had to go with red's, it was just so much more menacing. i think maybe if ra had made doomsday bigger maybe it woulda stood out more.
