Character Background: (I'll try and keep this short)
This is Gide Shigeo, a Dragon Slayer from Medieval England.
His weapons are a sword and a staff. His Traga-staff is a made from the petrified wood of aTragalyth tree, because dragons are vulnerable to weapons made from the Tragalyth tree. These weapons are called Tragas.
His sword, which he dubbed Sibelius is made from the Hellbourne Dragon's claw (which has been rumored to contain cogent powers against dragons, even more powerful than Tragas). The Hellbourne Dragon's 12 offspring were prophesized to bring about human genocide until Gide's father, Akira Shigeo, managed to kill a few of them. The Hellbourne dragon then killed Akira. Gide's mother, Sarah Francis, is the daughter of an English lord that was killed when a rival castle invaded Sarah's castle. With the wealth left behind from her father, Sarah built a refugee shelter for nomads, knights and any travelers from a far that needed to rest. This is where Akira and Sarah met. Akira was on his way to slay the hellbourne dragon when he stopped by the Sarah's shelter for rest before his journey in to the dragon's lair. After meeting (and falling inlove I guess...) Sarah, Akira prostponed his mission for 1 1/2 years until he finally carried on. Later in the same year that Akira had left the shelter, Sarah gave birth to bouncing baby Gide. After 17 years of studying and training with Shaolin monks, knights, rogue dragon slayers and even wizards that resided in the shelter, Gide departed the shelter with his friend the young wizard Kastin (who was a student of the chief archmage from Sarah's old castle) in search of Gide's father (Gide doesn't know hes dead, poor guy :( ).

Ian Romear : HE's a Mana Breaker, which is a type of art that uses the life energy of the planet in combat. His buster sword may be wooden but it has been soaked magic making it practicaly indestructable, which is a common practice in the making of mana type weapons. The process is also done with his gauntlet in order too use it as a focus when casting spells or shielding.

To make a living he participates in the many gladiator like tornaments that are held all over the world as well as being a part time mercinary. Otherwise..he usualy keeps to himself and doesn't normaly associate with others outside his job assignments.

Axem Marquee: Every game needs the brute strength. Axem is there to fill the job. He is was once a enslaved goul until he killed his former master (a warlock) with his master's own weapon, the axe that he uses now. The axe yeilds tremendous magic power, but Axem is unable to use it because he is not the brightest of things. If you tell the thing to kill something, most likely he will do it; however, if pushed over his limits, Axem turns against his friends.

Zero Ision
(his name is derived from his rank in the Ision. Thirteen Ision being the current master, decending Zero, the newest member.)
'As an apprentice to the Ision, a sect of elven warriors, Zero has been taught to focus his inner light through sigils on the palm of each hand. He can gather additional energies from the spirits of all living things around him(using a draw system similar to FF8) and his own abilities/stats increase accordingly. Unfortunately his training is incomplete, as his master was killed by a rogue student who stole the technique scrolls for his own ends. Sarcastic and cold, he treats the rest of his party like tools seeking only to accomplish his goals, and harbors a single minded determination to finish his training and avenge the honor of his elven order.

Zero's weapon of choice is the "God's Eye", a halo of light that forms a sheild over his right hand. The Eye becomes increasingly powerful as it's level rises, allowing the formation of a variety of bladed weapons. 'Heaven's Wing" is it's final attack form.'

Umm...hi! Is it too late for a last minute entry? I wanted in on this, but didn't think I'd have time. And lo, I got a day off. And it was good. And I drew a RPG character.

Mostly I started with the concept of console RPG's ludicrously excessive melee weapons, threw in some post-apocalypse flavor, and it sort of evolved from there.

Life on the war scarred colonial planet Gabriel Prime hasn't been easy for the last few decades. A key strategic position during the rebellion against the United Earth Colonies, it was reduced to a desolate husk. There were, of course, stranded survivors, who brutally fought for food. Sometimes they were fighting not to BE the food. Several years later, after the war, private corporations sent colonists to establish mining ventures. This did not go well. The colonists were taken as slaves, and most of their resources consumed. Enough were spared to begin some reparitions, and start hydroponic farms. But the savage way of life was deep rooted, and most of the equipment was made into weaponry. By the time the UEC sent it's cursory attempt to police the planet, the natives had everything they needed to fight them off. At present, they are sending just enough forces to maintain political favor, with a minimum expense.

Our handsome character here, is the leader of a tribe of raiders. he was only a few years old when the colonists landed. He managed to escape from the slave camps, and fend for himself, and developing a talent for precise and efficient brutality. Through his authority of violence, he has recruited a powerful tribe of raiders. His goal is to raid the military base, assume control, and escape the planet with his tribe.

How's that? And can I join this battle?

Karn Silverhair is a 110 year old Elf, from a clan of Elves who make residence in the woods of T'arnin valley. Karn has a heart of an adventurer, highly unusual for his clan. However, the Silverhair family of elves have always been odd. Karn's grandfather, Tarn Silverhair, was the first of his clan to fight alongside the humans and half-elves in the battle of Dark Run. Karn's own father was a wandering minstrel for nearly 400 years.
It was in Karn's first outing with humans that he picked up and learned to use the vary un elf-like weapon, the Flail. Who knows what path may be in store for the young explorer, but it will know doubt be that of Legend.....

His name is Raru. He is a ranger trained to protect potentialy dangerous animals from contact with humans. He is traveling with his steed and friend Quillion, a fire breathing warthog like beast the size of a rino, to speak with the emperor of a neighboring country about the clearing of forrest land around his kingdom. On his way he runs into a group of adventurers also on thier way to the kingdom. They are then caught up into a major battle, ultimately building into a catoclysmic fight with a huge powerful adversary. (via Final Fantasy). The reason he has no hair is because he was scorched badly by Quillion when he was taming him as a child. He can't speak to animals, but his Ranger training alows him to understand their body language. He is also trained to use low level magic. My story is kinda weak right now. I spent so much time designing him i didn't really think about his story...

Just to preface this little biography...I completely suck at thinking up and writing origin stories.
Her name is Kira (first thing that popped in my head). In her Elven village, she and six other elves were the protectors, possessed of magics they used to defend their village against evil forces that threatened it. Trouble was that the evil kept coming back. And they kept coming back stronger and stronger. They knew that if the evil kept progressing in that way, their magic wouldn't be enough to thwart them. So, in secret, Kira began to learn and practice other forms of magic, darker forms of magic, in order to empower herself. And, sure enough, an evil being came to the village so powerful that the seven began to lose...That is, until Kira tapped into her newly possessed dark magic and destroyed the creature. And though she saved the village from destruction she was exiled because, not only did she delve into the darker magics (which, of course, elves are supposed to be opposed to I guess) in secrecy, but the darkness that was now coursing through her was a threat to them all. So she roams the land, still protecting innocents from evil but also looking for a way to cure herself of the darkness she feels inside of her, growing more powerful...
Blah blah blah...extremely stupid and contrived, I know...Just look at the pretty pictures. :)

Hikia was a normal japanese girl in fuedal japan...when an invading demon army attack her village...after survicing the attack, burised batter and near death. Hikia sumble into a warrior temple, were the god of war took pity on her and granted her desire to destory the demons...She now wears the armor of life, a powerful armor that has a bow that grants her heaven sent arrows to rain down on her demon foes..The armor also grants her wisdom of warriors that have wore the armor before her, superhuman strength, and lighting reflexs.
