I had all his books before I even got into comics.

I didn't know who Death Dealer was until I went and did a search though.

I've never really heard anyone complain as much as you do. Not picking on you or anything, but c'mon. It's a big muscle-y character! have him wading through a pile of debris or something. You know who his main 'enemy' is, so have him duking it out with Superman. You don't have to find the 'soul' of the character or anything. No one is expecting the Sistine Chapel ceiling with Doomsday in it. The only reference I have of him is whatever was posted earlier from the web links... I don't have any of the Death of Superman comics or anything else with Doomsday in it, so we are on pretty much even ground.

Now, it's not like it's the first time someone couldn't make a deadline. Things like this happen. And, yet again, I DID try . as a matter of fact , I'm working on my drawing this very instant -knowing that I most likely already lost this round because I was late.

It's completely up to you guys (Red7ine and Ronin) whether you'll allow my piece or not.
If you allow it: Great.

If you don't: So be it.

i really don't give a shit... it's up to Ronin, but i feel as if a deadline is a deadline. However I don't want to win by default, and if there is no entry for me this round, i will concede the tournament to whoever wins between Beastie and Cook E...

Havok, I'm trying really hard not to be pissy about this. Yeah, you are right, it's not the end of the world. But you know what? I work 40+ hours a week at a job that i despise. I try to find time for my artwork in between work, sleep, and being around my daughter and wife. If nothing else, the 5 or 6 hours i spent on my piece could have been spent with them or on another project. a PAYING project. You started whining about not liking having to draw the character from the get go. Then at the halfway point, you started complaining about not being inspired. The very LEAST you could have done would be to post up your most-nearly completed sketch as your entry.

So, although it screws up HMG's bracket, i will not go into the next round by default. As far as i'm concerned, the winner of the current semifinal round should be the winner...
