I love the details and style of drawdan's but everything felt ljke it was on the same plane and very flat. Really love the mood and depth in basil's.

Voted Drawdan, I liked all the details, your drawing feels very polished. Basil, couple more hours man, haha!

Abe and Blade ... Ebony and Ivory... I would check it out :D Basil kills here because of the more dynamic composition.

Damn, this one was tough. Dan has awesome detail, inking, and motion, but the composition is incomplete. Basil's mood and lighting won the day for me.

Both entries have their own merits.

I like the cleanliness of Drawdan's line work though I think the composition could be improved. An environment in which the action takes place might also have been good.

The composition of Basil81's piece is very strong, and there is a lot of depth. The coloring and environment tie everything together, though the blurriness puts me off a bit.

Overall, it's kind of a tough call but I'm going with Basil81 based on a stronger composition, characters being located inside an environment, color use, and atmosphere.

Basil81's piece seems rushed, and it is obvious many shortcuts were taken, not to mention over reliance on Photoshop effects and cheats. Nowhere near his best work and I would expect better in the next match. Drawdan's lack of composition, or a background to give proper context to the action, let's his piece down. Also, anatomy isn't up to par, but the many details and sharp lines indicate great promise.
