Battlereaper I think you should watch your edge control, but other than that these are both cool! Hard to decide!

Very tough, but I'm going with battlereaper. The figure in the front is fantastic in a Hamlet-ish sort of way. I could wish for a little more contrast, though.

Reaper, I was pretty confident in what I had till I saw your piece... well done sir! I agree JC, I think I'm going to walk away from this one focusing hard on my posing and composition next time. Thanks for the comment:)

Voted Ray. It's a simpler piece, but it's got a lot more clarity.

Thanks for all the comments.
Since my piece was not completely finished, I didn't get around to worrying too much about edges. Originally, I intended to complete the black and white and then add color.
I think your piece is excellent Rayuken, I really love the colors and you've got very nice line work.

Rayuken, you've developed, or are in the midst of developing, a distinct style, but you've gotta work on your anatomy and composition. The photoshoppy little touches here and there may look cool at first, but over reliance on them to complete an image is never a good idea. I know because I've done it more times than I can count. Battlereaper, there's lots going on in that piece, but I honestly can't say I know what that is. I feel like I've arrived to late at the party when I look at the guy with the sword slumped down like that, but the fluids gushing out of the figures on the left suggest that somebody sliced through them nary a moment ago.

Rayuken gets my vote here.
