Fallen, that is some insane level of pencil rendering. That Raven alone deceives her own cover.

Pop, a more animated look... but I prefer it. I think the figure work here is the more solid, and it got my vote.

Both have strong anatomy and figure poses, but Pop's is a little better composed. The more figures you add the harder it is to keep a piece weighted evenly. What pushes Fallen over the top for me is the intense detail and drama of the overall piece.

Holy Shit Batman!!! Both of these pieces are rockin'!!!! I love Fallen's rendering techniques especially the Gorilla. You never fail to impress. I also love the energy of Popninja's piece, it looks like a comic book cover ready to be inked and colored, the Kirby crackle and energy bolts make it pop. Great work guys.

Very though choice! Fallen has some nice rendering but very static poses ...Pop thats one of my favs from you ...the energy is great! i wish Starfire was lookin this way...or we saw what they were shooting at...would make for a great wraparound cover...went with Fallen cause of that crazy rendering but only by a hair!

Wow! Both of these are totally awesome and for totally different reasons! Love the rendering, details and inclusion of all those characters in Fallen's piece. I totally dig the dynamic action in Pop's piece too, and only wish that he had drawn the complete Titan's team in this same fashion along with some parademons or something they were fighting(what a blockbuster that would have been!).

I'm gonna have to give this one another day or so to percolate in my brain before I can make a decision. Nice job guys!

Oh, and need I say it? Both of you guys should be coming back to the PUMMEL monthly matches to do drawings like this month in and month out :)!

Went with Pop even though Fallen's rendering is sick. i probably would have given it to Fallen if he had just submitted the first half of his pic. There are a few anatomy/posing problems on Wonder Girl and Kid Flash that distracted me, but Raven and Cyborg look spot-on. So freaking close guys!

While they're both great pictures - really! It was a tough choice! - I went with Fallenangel's piece. With more characters, it was a bigger gamble, and I think FA pulled it off. Sharp & well rendered, my only ...hate to say complaint? is the gutter since its a two-pager.

Still, its a tight fight - Popninja's piece is simpler & feels a little looser, but doesn't really lose anything. Its a great piece, too!

Nah, I don't think that's it. I LOVE your rendering. My issue was with a bit of your anatomy (SB's shoulders/arms, and WG)

But by all means, switch up styles. I'd love to see ya take on some different stuff. It's all for the growth!

Zero. At least, not while they were Heavies. I think Juggertha is the one and only current HW that I've beaten in the past.

I have, however, been slapped around by a few Heavies.
